Canvas Creations
The occasionis the work.
Event management and experiences, Sydney.
Event management and experiences in Sydney. We plan, design, produce and deliver occasions for organisations and people who need the room to hold.
The point of view
An event has an operational reality. It also has an audience, a purpose, a place, a mood, a reputation, a story and a moment.
Canvas Creations brings those things together. Strategy, creative, production and delivery sit in one team, so the people responsible for the occasion have one conversation.
The Canvas Method
An event begins before the doors open.
It begins with why people are gathering, what the occasion needs to achieve, and what the experience has to make possible. The eight questions below are one philosophy — not a menu of services.
People → Purpose → Place → Culture → Idea → Production → Moment → Impact

People
Who is in the room?
Guests, hosts, institutions and communities. The occasion is designed around the people who will stand in it — not around a generic run sheet.
How we hold the briefWork
Some of the occasions we work on are private by necessity.
When a project can be shared, we show the thinking behind it: the brief, the decisions, the experience and the result. Until then, this site shows method, not a fabricated portfolio.
Audiences
Who we work with
Government, councils, corporations, institutions and private clients.
The Canvas Places
A visual atlas of rooms that already carry meaning.
Named venues publish with permission. Until then, the atlas holds the kinds of places we work in — and the facts we can stand behind.

Cultural & community engagement
Design with cultural context in mind.
Protocol, language, community and place belong in the brief. We engage cultural expertise when the occasion requires it. We do not claim a national cultural network.
How we design with cultureThe brief
Let's make the brief clear.
What is happening, who it is for, what matters, and what has to be delivered. We will read it and reply in person.
